Basketball Positions: Guards

    To fully understand basketball you have to understand all of the positions and what they provide for a team. This is what you need to know about the guard positions.

1. Point Guard - Imagine the point guard as the quarterback of the basketball team. This player is usually quick, agile, and has mad ball-handling skills. Their primary job is to set up plays, distribute the ball, and make sure everyone's on the same page. Think of them as the brain of the team, always strategizing and looking for the perfect opportunity to score.

3. Shooting Guard - The shooting guard is the player who loves to take shots from beyond the arc. They're usually excellent shooters and are skilled at scoring points from a distance. Like a skilled archer, they aim to sink those three-pointers and light up the scoreboard. Additionally, shooting guards are often good at driving to the basket when they are given the chance.
